The day I turned 20

Hey! I haven't posted anything for way too long agaaaain, but today I just felt like I had to. Today was my 20th birthday, and hands down the best birthday I've ever had. (And I didn't even have a cake!? say whaaat) I've just been all smiles today, thanks to my wonderful friends & family. I just feel so lucky be surrounded by so so many wonderful and loving people. Aaah my heart's gonna burst. So originally I didn't really have a lot planned for the day, I just casually asked my workmates if we could maybe go and eat dinner somewhere. And then Corinne suggested we'd go for a quick morning power walk, since she had to go to work later in the day. I was a little bummed cause it seemed like almost all of my close friends were either working or out of town that day, but I also just kinda put it aside and didn't think too much about it. Little did I know what they had planned for me... Turns out the power walk was mainly an excuse to get me out of the house while my other friends were preparing an absolute dream breakfast/brunch in our kitchen. (Also a nice workout!) My family had also left the house to run go some errands (which I guess they actually did too). When we returned from the walk, all gross and sweaty, I was greeted by some of my absolute favorite faces at the door and everyone screaming "surpriiiiiise"! It took me probably half a minute to figure out what was going on, haha! I had absolutely no clue. NO CLUE. It made me so happy to see everyone together, especially in my house! And everything was set out so pretty too! We had pancakes and fruit and chocolate and croissants and all. Wowwww I'm still a little speechless. What a perfect way to spend a birthday! Just look at these pics: so many genuine smiles and laughs, amazing food and pretty flowers. I'm a happy girl!
Later this night we went out to eat to this lovely restaurant called Mamma Rosa, which was amazing too! Once again great food and awesome company. It's crazy how many lovely people I get to work with, everything just kinda clicks with them. We're just the best juice team <3 Sadly I didn't bring my camera to dinner, but I'll probably post some phone pics from there in a different kind of post tomorrow! Stay tuned for that. :)
Whilst writing this post I officially turned 20 years old (which means it's pretty late and time for me to sleep). I'll try to be more active here from now on! At least right now it feels like my head is full of ideas and creative stuff. Sorry for all the ramble.
G'night now! x
